Weds Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce its official support for Asano Racing Service in the “ENEOS Super Taikyu Series 2026 Supported by BRIDGESTONE”.
The team will enter the ST-4 Class under the vehicle name “WedsSport GR86” in a TOYOTA GR86.
The team will be lead by Team Director Shingo Asano. The A driver is Kazumi Mikami, who served as the C driver last year and was honored with the Best Female Driver Award. Driving as the B driver is the heart of the team, Takeo Asano (age 73), who serves as Team Representative, vehicle constructor and maintenance lead. Joining as the C driver is newcomer Tatsuya Minowa, known for his impressive speed in the GR86/BRZ race and Super Taikyu series. Completing the lineup as the D driver is Daiki Fujiwara, who drove strongly in last years Super GT.
This season marks the final Super Taikyu Series for Takeo Asano, who has competed in the series for many years.
